Diploma of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB-CET) is conducted by National Board of Education (NBE), New Delhi is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for entry to various Post Graduate courses including Direct 6 year’s course in the specialty of Plastic Surgery, Neuro-Surgery, Cardio-thoracic Surgery and Pediatric Surgery.

Diploma National Board qualifications are well recognized and accepted globally.  They are eligible to be considered for specialist’s post/ faculty in any Hospital including training/ teaching institution on a teaching post/ as faculty member.

DNBA CET 2019 Eligibility:-

Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree/ Provisional Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent / provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India and have completed one year of internship/ likely to complete may apply for DNB-CET examination.

DNB CET 2019 Pattern:-

DNB CET shall be multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based plateform(CBT). The question paper shall comprise of PART-A and PART-B each having 150 MCQs with a total duration of 3½ hours.
 
The question paper shall consist of 300 MCQs with single correct response.
 
Negative Marking: There shall be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.


Practice solved papers that are available online and you can also buy solved papers from the market as well. During the exam you need to solve the easy questions first so that you can find time to solve hard question later. Try concentrating on the logics of concepts, rather memorizing the formulas and procedures. Develop your own methodologies to solve a problem.
